You don't have to tie them up in summer, they're waaaaaay easier to brush, easier to style & plus- (with my hair) they don't look messy or lazy. My hair is wavy one day, super curly the next-totally unpredictable!
For me, keeping it short means keeping it .... fit.
Plus, the right cuts can look fun, flirty or sporty.
AND, short hair is much easier to take care of.
